There is vehicular access onto the land which is bounded on one side by the Glencloy River. There is also direct access onto the beach. A play park is located on the other side of the bridge and nearby Carnlough has a picturesque harbour, a number of cafes and the locally renowned Londonderry Arms Hotel which was once owned by Sir Winston Churchill.

There is no Planning Permission with the land and interested parties should satisfy themselves that the land is suitable for how they intend to use it.
